Good Morning,
I am wondering about writing a letter to get the bank to accept the deed in lue and put something in writing to me that this is being given and the bank will not pursue foreclosure on my record. is their such a letter? If not what verbage should ln go in such a letter. It would be like an accpetance letter or something thank you for wisdom.

I guess you're looking for a hardship letter to convince the bank for a deed-in-lieu. Please refer to a pervious post on writing hardship letter so that you get to know how to draft it.

however, have you already contacted your lender to see what workout options you qualify for? there are several options to help stop foreclosure on your home. please contact your lender now and be sure to speak to someone within the loss mitigation department.
