We are finishing up our Deed in Lieu. When it's all final and we cancel our homeowners insurance, we will get a refund. We just paid it for the year. If that refund is sent directly to us from our insurance agent, do I then have to turn around and send it to the mortgage company, BAC?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Hi gaspshock,
You may have to send the insurance refund check back to your lender.
Thanks

Welcome gaspshock,
I agree with the opinion of James Hogg. There are high chances that you will have to return the refund check to the lender. This will help him get back his dues to some extent.
