WILL I HAVE TO KEEP PAYING MY MORTAGE PAYMENTS IF I ENTER INTO A DEED IN LIEU?

I am current on all my payments but i am a senior citizen and i cannot afford to buy my medican and i have problems paying my bills trying to keep my mortage paid and i cannot keep the upkeep on the house i just want to move into a senior building and get from under all this debt

DIL will be a good thing if you want to move to senior citizen's home.At least you will be stress free from paying bills at this age.

hi harding,

your lender will accept the request for a deed in lieu of foreclosure when you are delinquent in your mortgage payments. while you apply for a deed in lieu of foreclosure, you don't have to make the mortgage payments.
