WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF GETTING THIS RESOLVED.

Posted on: 06th Oct, 2010 01:31 pm
spoke with someone at GMAC Mortg, Litigation department, Yesterday (10/06/10) and I was told that my Modification Trial Period was denied.

REASON FOR MY DENIAL : The reason that I was given is that they have not received my Payment for OCTOBER.

Which is true -BUT this is why they haven’t received my payment……..

I got paper work about my Modification Trial Plan in late July/early August. I immediately called and asked what to do about my regular August Payment. The reason I asked this is because, the Modification Trial Plan did not state anything about my August Payment (which was due at that moment). The August payment was a concern As I was up to date with my payments. I WENT FOR THE MODIFICATION BECAUSE MY BILLS ARE THROUGH THE ROOF AND ON A VARIABLE RATE.

I called numerous times and spoke with different Representatives and I was told every time that I should pay my August Payment as usual of 1401.

I even called with THE HUD Counselor and told the same.

Sooo…. I sent in my regular August Payment of 1401 in early August . AND THEN sent my first trial period payment on August 30, 2010 for my First trial period.

I called a few days after, in September, to make sure that the payment was received and I was told that my next payment was not due till November.

I asked why, if I had just sent in my first trial payment for September.

Rep explained: The rep, 02810, explained to me numerous times over, that my regular August Payment was put in the system as my September payment and that my First trial payment was processed as my October payment. And if I made another payment (which would be my second payment) at the end of September, it would be processed as my November payment and this would look negative on my review. So they told me to wait and make my next payment at the end of October for November. I BEGGED for a letter and the only thing they could send was a payment history.

I even pulled up my latest statement for September and it states, that “ Your Special Repayment Plan requested has been honored. Your next installment due is 11/1/10.”

NOW : TODAY: October 6, 2010

I spoke with someone in Litigation (Monique X14061)

She told me that she could see that, YES I was current with my trial period payments and did not know why I was denied for this reason. It was being escalated to get me an answer as soon as possible. I mentioned that I worked for Uncle SAM and if this was not resolved ASAP, it could impact my job status.

WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF THE BANK CORRECTING THIS!?!??!?!? WIFE IS PREGNANT AND SHE IS STRESSING OUT. NOT HAPPY!!
Hi Barralesrod!

Welcome to forums!

The matter has been escalated to the higher authorities. Thus, you can expect a positive reply from them as the documents show that you are current with your trial payments. You should be in constant touch with the lender in order to know the status of your account asap.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
