Do I need a real estate agent if I am doing a deed in lieu

I have not lived in the house since March. It has been on the market but not sold. I don't want to keep the house.
You do nto need a real estate agent

Contact the bank and work with them, they shoudl eb able to help you with this process

I agree with Sunny. If you want a deed in lieu of foreclosure, you will have to contact your lender and not a real estate agent. You will have to inform the lender about your hardship and ask him for a deed in lieu. However, you should remember that a deed in lieu will badly affect your credit.
