Our home was foreclosed on back in 2010 and we have since purchased a new home. Before vacating the home we removed some cabinets and a glass shower that we had installed in our lower level that we had paid for out of our pocket and was not part of any mortgage. The people who purchased the foreclosed home have been messaging me on Facebook with questions about the home. Early in 2011 in our conversations I told her that we had the cabinets and if she was interested in them they could purchase them for a good deal. I explained that they were paid for by us and not part of the loan. She did not seem to be interested in them at the time but now she is asking us if we still have them and how much we would want for them. I'm concerned that we could get into trouble for this even though we have the original receipt for them. We also filed bankruptcy shortly after we lost our home if that would change anything.
Hi mowgli!
Welcome to the forums!
If you are afraid of facing any problem regarding those cabinets, then you can simply tell them that you do not wish to sell them any more as you will need them at your own home. That will help you sort out the things.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi mowgli,
I agree with Sussane. You will have to make them aware that you are not interested in selling the cabinets anymore. That will end the matter.
Thanks
