foreclosed mobile home

Posted on: 12th Nov, 2013 02:49 pm
Hello--I have a foreclosed mobile home on my private lot. Have asked mortgage company to remove it repeatedly..they have not. May I charge them rent? It is someone else's mobile home but my land. How would I do this and what is the going rate? Thank you!
Hi Mrs. Mallett,

As far as I know, you will be able to charge rent to the mortgage company for keeping the property on your land. You can contact an attorney and he will let you know as to how much rent you will be able to charge them.

Thanks

Hi Mrs. Mallett!

Welcome to the forums!

I agree with James here. If required, you can charge them the rent that is being charged by the other landlords in the market at present.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
