How long do you have to move out of a foreclosed home?

my landlord just told me yesterday that the house is been in forclosure for a year and is going to be aunctioned off on the 17th of april,, how long do i have after april 17 to vacate the premises? im in NY
don't be too freaked out. lenders are far more benign towards tenants living in foreclosed properties than they used to be. you'll receive notice from the lender about what is expected of you, and you'll probably be happy to know that they may very well pay you an incentive to move out in a certain specified period of time.
