A few years ago my husband (now my EX) forced me to sign some mortgage papers on a house we were moving in to. On the first age, it only listed him as the borrower 'A SINGLE MAN' --we were married at the time...Is that legal? Also, he made me inital all of the pages but forgot to have me sign the last page so only his signature is there.
The house is now in foreclosure. Will this affact my credit? I dont understand how he could list it as only him 'A SINGLE MAN' legally. Is this legal?

Welcome melissatapp,
You will have to check out the loan docs throughly to find out if you are one of the co-borrowers of the loan. If your signatures are there on the mortgage docs, then the foreclosure will affect your credit score negatively.
