My brother's home will get foreclosed this weekend! Does that mean he will have to out of his home immediately or will he have some time? How does it work?
Hi Stella,
Your brother may not have to move out of the property immediately. He will get an eviction notice from the lender after the property is foreclosed. That notice will mention the time period to leave the property.
Take care

Hi Stella,
Normally, after a foreclosure, the lender and the new owner may provide your brother with 3 days time to move out of the property. If he wants more time, then he needs to speak to the new owner and the lender.
Thanks

After foreclosure, your brother will have to move out from his home within the time period of 3 days. If your brother needs some more time, then he will have to talk to the lender and also the new owner of the property. This may help your brother to get some more time before leaving his home.
If your brother fails to move out of his foreclosed house within that 3 days, then the new owner may get a court's notice after which he will have to vacate the property within 48 hours of its issuance. If after the court's order, he doesn't move out of the house, then the Sheriff will remove him physically and place his belonging into the storage.
