Hi everyone.... need your assistance. I received a letter from my lender saying they have forgiven my mortgage loan. What does this mean to me? Am I now the owner of the property?
It means that the lender will not collect the dues any more. You don't owe the loan to the lender. You may ask the lender to provide you with a lien release certificate.
