Can one's VA Disability compensation benefits be garnish by Creditors Court and/or Debt collector? Can one's bank account be "frozen" if one has only VA Disability Comp going into it?
Welcome RC,
As far as I know, disability compensation benefits cannot be garnished by the creditors. However, they can freeze the savings account in which the disability benefits are going to. You can open a new account and try to get your disability benefits deposited in that account.
