We got an mortgage in 1990 along with home insurance and the endorsement.
but the endorsemnt lasted 3 months due to money problems couldnt afford it at that time. but we went into alliance and leicester in 2009 and were told by the advisers that we have another 18 yrs for the amount £30,000 to be cleared. we didnt have a clue regards to this dont know what to do. Also can you not get any refund back from the mortgage due to all that time we have been paying mortgage.
we have been paying since 1990 till now and another 18 yrs on top of this. please help me i am in a crisis.

Hi wazzychillin,
You will have to contact your mortgage company and apply for a refund. It will be their discretion whether or not they will offer you the refund. Nevertheless, you can also have a word with your attorney and he may be able to guide you further in this regard.
