When I got married me and husband bought a house but from my understanding it was said that the house should be in my name only because i qualified better.....so I was the buyer and he was listed on the deed. Six months ago We divorced uncontested and came to our own aggreement that he would get the house (written on divorce decree) given that he was able to get the mortgage loan transferred in his name within 60 days.....its been six months and he has been denied for the loan and the loan is still in my name and the mortgage company is hounding me for payment, even though I don't live there, my ex husband does,.....the mortgage company said im still legally responsible for the house no matter what the divorce decree says......si now I want my house, and want him to just move out...how do I do this?

As the mortgage is in your name, the lender has the rights to come after you for the payments. You should contact your ex-husband and ask him to sign a quitclaim deed in your favor. Once he does so, you will become the sole owner of the property.
