I have a double-wide mobile home financed with GreenTree Financing and am considering a deed-in-lue-of-forclosure and was wondering if any had dealt with them in this regard? And is NC a walk-away/nodeficiency state? Thanks.
Hi godchaser!
Welcome to Forums!
I do not have any personal experience with GreenTree Financing but I haven't heard anything good about them. The company had a very troubled portfolio of mobile-home loans which was sold to Conseco a few years ago. Consumers have faced lots of issues regarding this and people do not have a favorable opinion about the company. I just hope that you have a good experience with the company.
Coming to your next question, North Carolina(NC) is not a walk-away state.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
Sussane.
