Hello everyone... I am in need of help. My spouse passed away and the HELOC on our property was in his name. The first mortgage on the property is in my name. I contact my lender for the details of the loan and even send them my husband's death certificate, but they won't budge. What can I do now? I also tried checking online but of no help.
It's high time that you take help of an attorney now. He will contact the lender and try to get the required documents legally.
