Im am very pissed off as I have just been refused a mortgage with C & G of 130,000 with 13,000 deposit. I am also only buying 70% of the properties Value as I am purchasing from my mother. I did have fair credit before they checked my credit and now I have poor credit after they refused me!! I do not have 1P with off debt and I have never had credit as I always buy everything out right. I earn a decent wage as I am a director of a Plumbing firm that is running well and I have over 4 years of accounts!!!! Currently I am paying rent of 900 a month and I have never missed a payment in 4 years. Whats the world coming too. Whats a man to do. The country has fallen to peices when they give illegal immagrants and teenage mums houses and take the money from the working class but refuse to give the working man help!! I am not eledgible for a council house as I earn too much money but they wont give me a morgage as I do not earn enough!!!! Very confused!! Help me before I find Gordon Brown and give him a peice of my mind!! wanker!!
thank your for citing gordon brown in your final sentence. that lets us know you're in the UK and not in the USA.
lots of us on this forum are in the usa, so our commentary isn't necessarily going to be helpful to you.
maybe you ought to write him a letter rather than finding him. but, really, i'd say it would pay to discuss the situation with another lender to see what might take place. it's unusual to find out that your credit went from "fair" to "poor" simply because you were declined.
