Posted on: 02nd Sep, 2010 07:01 pm
Hello:
i am an educated african american woman age 49 at age six my 9 brothers and sisters and I were placed in a foster home. (abused) at age 9 i was snatched into the boys bathroom at my public school, although I was molested I was not raped, I was sent back to school the next day, I did not have therapy, or a good talking to, I still have nightmares, In September of 2008 I lost my job of 11 years @ 980.00 per week, my apartment, my son to 62 years in prison. I am now homeless but glad to be an american, and happy to have a pulse. I am so seriously depressed and hungry.
Hi leshawnlundy,

I can understand what you've gone through. A large number of people have become homeless due to the crisis in the housing market. Why don't you contact the local Public Housing Authority (PHA) and apply for Section 8 housing? It will help you in getting a home for yourself.

Thanks
