my daughter has been trying for months to remodify her manufactured home loan, and for months they told her it looked good & everything should go through. today she was told it didn't go through & they would push for foreclosure by the end of june. she has tried eveything only to find nothing for refinancing of a manufactured home. it is a very nice, clean manufactured home on permanent foundation in a nice rural area & sits on 2.6 acres. we need to help her find a place to refinance or remodify her loan. she just has had a bit of bad luck, recently became divorced, mother of two children. she can make her payments if they were lower monthly. please help. i am her mother trying to help her find a resolution to keep her home.

If your daughter has equity in the property, then she can contact other lenders and apply for a refinance. Depending upon her financial situation, she will be able to get a refinance.
However, if she doesn't have equity and is underwater, then she will have to contact her lender and get a loan modification. It is the lender who will consider her request for modification.
