x-wife mortage and my new one corrections

i been divorced for 8 years now. my x got house land and every debt with it. she has never got loan refinanced. i was unaware to this fact until a few years ago. well i am wanting to by a house in a few months. but having the other loan and she missing payments is killing my credit score. bank already told her with her current score not going to refinance. what can i do to get a loan for my new family?

you're in a tough situation now. you can ask your ex to go for novation in order to get the mortgage transferred in her name. however, with a bad score, it will be difficult for you to get qualified for a loan.

hi bryano,

to know all about novation, you can even get in touch with your lender. if he agrees to the option, he will let you know about it in details.
