I bought a condo prior to my marriage and now it is foreclosing. Husband is not on deed or mortgage. When I am sued for deficiency judgement, is he liable? We live in Florida.
If your husband's name is not on the mortgage docs, then the lender will not be able sue your husband for the deficiency judgment. He will not be liable for the dues. Moreover, his credit will not be affected due to your foreclosure.
