Can I notary sign over my rights to a property with an interspousal deed to my husband without my signature or authorization

Posted on: 28th Dec, 2010 11:32 am
My ex-husband submitted an interspousal transfer deed through his notary to the court to remove me from the property without my consent or signature. Is this legal or even allowed?
Hi mayra_garcia,

Unless you sign the quitclaim deed to remove your name, the deed will not be considered legal. It only means that your ex has forged your signatures on the deed. You should contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter.

Thanks
