Hi, eric1, I have court date by 8/20/09, the credit card try the collect their money, what happen if I do not show up at the court, they will arrested me and judgment and Garnish my wage? My wife and me we filling Income-Tax separated, This is Happen in State of Florida. Please when you answer this Question use my username, I want to be sure you answer direct to me.

If you do not appear in the court, then your creditor will get a default judgment. He will win the case against you and will have the right to garnish your wages. It would be better if you could appear in the court as the judge will look at your case favorable and may help you get a repayment plan.

You can be arrested for missing a court date. However there is no way to know what the judge will do regarding your wages and next steps.

I would recommend NOT missing the court date. It will not erase what you owe. If anything, it will just get worse.
