hello: i have a corporation sueing me. i am curious if they win a judgement what can they attach. virtually everything i own is in my wifes name also (she is not patr of the suit).

If the corporation wins a judgment against you, they can attach any of your properties. However, since most of the properties are in your wife's name, I doubt whether they would be able to come after any of those assets. Becasue your wife is not part of the lawsuit and they cannot takw away her assets. But in case, you have recently transferred those properties in your wife's name to avoid the judgment, such transfer will not be considered as valid. The corporation can then attach those assets to the judgment.

If out of fear you have transferred the properties on your wife's name then corporation may come after those properties too.So better face them and fight a legal battle.
