I had a judgement put against my home 7yrs ago (renewed in 07)from a repoed vehicle. I am a single mother of 3 and cant afford another payment of any kind (over 10,000 with interest, I was told). The Mortgage is in mine and my parents names, them as cosign. What advise would you give.
Welcome Guest,
If you are unable to pay off the judgment, then the creditor has the rights to foreclose the property and recover the dues. As you are facing hardship in paying off the judgment, you should have a word with your creditor and check out if he can offer you a payments plan which can make it affordable for you to pay it off.
