I live in NC and only work part time so I don't qualify for our 230,000 home. I have a 787 credit score and want to keep the house in divorce. My name isn't on the mortgage but is on the deed. What are my steps for this or is it even possible?
hi amy24ah,
if you want to keep the house, then you will have to refinance the loan to get it transferred in your name. if you can't refinance your mortgage on your own, it will be better if you could take help of a co-signer in order to refinance your loan.
thanks

Hello Amy,
A process to sell your house quick will also be something that is going to get the divorce court hearing to be shorter in duration. The hearing will not be one that is going to be too hard to handle because of how fewer things will be involved.
