Hello All,
Quick question I have home loan with First Horizon (Metlife). I missed my payment in July. Well FH is now saying i missed aug and sept which is incorrect. I have talked to customer service several times, and sent several Faxes to them explaining the problem and mis-information but they are not coorperating and are refusing to change the mis-information. It is now affecting my ability to gain credit. Does anyone have a number or suggestion on how to talk to the acutal people making the decision. They just tell me that those people don't take calls and said everything is done by mail. It is very fustrating that you can not talk to someone and explain to them in person what the problem is.
Thanks, Troy

Troy,
If you have proof that you did make your payments the lender has to make the change legally. You can try asking for their credit department who reports their data to the 3 credit bureaus. You can also go to the 3 credit bureaus and dispute the 30 day late marks on your credit report. Experian, Transunion, Equifax. If that doesn't work write your local congress or notify local tv. Lenders hate bad press! Attorney general and the FTC is a good option as well.
