Our mortgage company needs confirmation that we have paid off our credit card. The company is giving us a hard time about providing such a letter-what can we do. Time is really of the essence here!
Thanks

how about your most recent statement? can you do online banking and print something there? each of these solutions ought to work for you.

Did your credit card company tell you why they cannto give you a letter.
If your card is paid off there shoudl nto be any reason for them to deny this
Good luck and feel free to ask

As far as my knowledge credit card company should not deny giving the letter as you paid off.
Consult the higher authority from the credit card company for getting the letter. I think there will be certain miscommunication between you and them.
Please check again with them. I think it should work.
best luck
