I had a judgement lien placed on my home two years ago and I honestly did not know this happened. Regardless, since they have the lien on the "home", can they still attack my personal items such as furniture, jewelery, lawnmower, etc. This was an unsecured debt.
personal belongings are not at jeopardy - you can still mow the lawn with your own lawnmower, you can still bling-bling with your own jewelry and you can still fall asleep on your favorite couch while watching march madness.
the creditor that placed the lien will wait until the time comes when you'll try to refinance your home, or sell it, in order to collect their balance due.
