How do I remove my Husbands name from my house so that we do not have a lein against the house...I am not sure this would happen but how would I remove my husbands name from the house so that if there should come a time that some one may lein against him it would not be the house? How can I figure out if my house loan has a "Due on sales" clause?
Thank you

Welcome mcelroy,
In order to remove your husband's name from the property deed, you can ask him to sign a quitclaim deed in your favor. Check out the sample quitclaim deed forms in the given link:

As far as due on sale clause is concerned, you can check out the mortgage docs properly. This clause will be mentioned in the mortgage docs. You can even check it out with your lender.
