When doing a loan would a lien show up on a note, truth and lending or deed of trust?

If i wanted to find out if a house had a lien on it where would i look? Could i find this info on a promissary note, a truth and lending statement or a deed of trust?
Register Of Deeds office at your county court house is the best place to look for the all information.But you need to submit them property tax bill of the property so that it will be easy for them to locate the property as well as data history of the property.
