we have a mortgage with usaa as well as a master card with them in my hubands name. Mortgage is in both our names as well as house and car ins.
The mastercard has be turned over to a collection agency. Can this effect our ins. poilcies and mortgage

If you pay off the debts in full to the collection agency, then it won't have a negative affect on your insurance policies and mortgage.

The Credit reporting agencies will validate your information with your old lender, after a few weeks, the will let you know the outcome of your dispute. If the old bank does not modify the information, then send the copies of the dismissal to the credit reporting agencies, and have them notate the inaccuracies right into your report.
