My husband suddenly passed away. His name was not on the mortgage or deed. Do I have to do anything?

As your husband's name is not mentioned on the mortgage docs or the property deed, you don't have to do anything regarding the property. If your name is mentioned on the property deed, then you will remain the property owner.
