I am currently giving up my mobile home due to unable to pay, the company told me that I couldnt do that and that they would withhold my earnings cause Im letting go of my home. Can they do that??
Hi ygutz,
You simply cannot give up the property to the lender. The lender would foreclose the property and sell it off to recover the dues. In that case, you would be responsible for the deficient balance resulting from the sale. If you cannot pay the dues, the lender may garnish your wages or place a lien on your savings account.
Thanks
