i own a mobile home and everytime i am late which is 1 day after the due date of my payment. the lender start calling me several times a day and threatening to repro my home. they say that there is no grace period after the due date. i have never been more than 2 months behind but they are always threatening me and calling me as much as 7 times a day and calling everyone on my street with the same last name that i have asking questions about me and leaving messages. Can they do that?

how many months can you be behind in your loan before the company can repro your mobile home?
Hi Guest,

As far as I know, lenders offer a grace period of 15 days to all the borrowers. Within this grace period, they hardly call the borrowers for payments. It is quite surprising to me as to why your lender is not providing you with a grace period.

If you are more than 3 months late on your mortgage payments, the lenders can start the foreclosure procedure and then take away your property. I think you should consult an attorney regarding this issue.

Take Care.
