who is offering modifications on mobile homes?
Hi stacy,
Your current lender will help you in modifying the loan. If you are delinquent on your mortgage payments, you should immediately contact your lender and apply for a loan modification.
Thanks

Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
It is your current lender who will help you in modifying the loan. Other lenders won't be of any help to you. You need to negotiate with your lender and check out if he can help you.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.

If the mobile home and land are financed together, you may qualify for a modification under HAMP.
If you only have a loan on the mobile home, you may have an even better option - chapter 13 reorganization. Under chapter 13, you can reduce the amount of the loan down to the value of the home (which is usually much, much less) and lower the interest rate to about prime + 2%.
