I have a jumbo mortgage with Wells Fargo. My partner and I own the house together. We are going through extremely difficult economic times now. I was diagnosed with cancer and spent the better part of a year in the hospital. I am on Disability. My partner's business has dropped 80%. We have attempted to modify our current loan with Wells Fargo. I have submitted all the paperwork required 6 times now. They keep telling me the paperwork was either lost or has to be updated. Am I getting the runaround? What can I do about it?
Hi joejnaas,
In most cases, it takes some time for the lender to qualify you for a loan modification. You should keep in touch with your lender on a regular basis and ask the lender to take a decision regarding your request asap.
Thanks
