I would like to stay in my house, but all I can afford to pay is my negative amortization payment. I am not behind on my mortgage payments but I'm afraid that because we are not behind and are able to make a payment we our mortgage company would not qualify for someone who needs help.
Hi roxyelder,
You need to inform your lender about your financial situation and apply for a loan modification. If the lender is convinced about your hardship, then you would be able to qualify for a modification.
