My lender American Loan Services /Wells Fargo entered my income as
my expenses and my mortgage payment as my income. I strongly feel that they proceeded with the foreclosure sale in error. They bought my house back. it is in their books as an REO. I've wrote letters explaining the issue and so far, I they haven't rescinded the foreclosure. As a result of this error, it doesn't comply with the California foreclosue laws and it's a HAMP violation. Please help.

Hi Helen!
Welcome to forums!
Did you inform the lender about the error that has been committed? If not, then you should do so. If the error is rectified, then you may be able to qualify for a loan modification.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
