Hi, We are currently inthe process of trying to get our 1st with WF modified. THey have given us a smaller payment for 3 months, then back to the original for 3 months (May being the last of that), and we are supposed to sned them a letter requesting once again that the loan be modified, becaue we cannot come up with the $15,000 that is past due, that they want for June. When I contacted WF, I was told this is normal, and that 90% of the people can't pay this last payment. So if this is the case, why must we then submit yet another letter -and probably financial paperwork too, requesting the modification? It seems like they are putting us through hoops here.
Welcome susanbarrott,
As far as I can understand, as per the process you need to submit the letter and the financial paperwork in order to let the lender consider your paperwork. Depending upon your submission of the paperwork, your request for loan modification will be considered.
