Moved out of home

Posted on: 19th Nov, 2009 11:04 pm
Family moved out of home because back on mortgage payments. Found out that bank has not filed for foreclosure but willing to work out loan mod. Should they move back into the home asap! Has had property broken into since no one is there!
Hi kopaenz,

If the lender is ready for a loan modification, then the family should move back into the property. Then they should negotiate with the lender for the modification. This will help them save their property and their credit will not get affected provided they make the payments as per the payment plan on time.

Take care
