coonfusing name on my mortage note

My home was in foreclosure & since has been stopped..When checking the Dockets online one of the documents had another person's name along side my name as a grantor.. I do not know this person or have I ever heard of them... How can their name get on any of my papers as a grantor,,,The grantee was Bank Of America.. could he have done a quit claim on my mortage
