I was going to try to buy a house at a foreclosure auction
I did a full title search
the house has a first and second
the first is the trustee sale
anyways theres no past due property tax,
but i was informed if the owner did not pay his taxes that a lien could be put on the house? How can i find out about the owners taxes and if the IRS has a lien on the house? I have his name
Hi johnjon!

Welcome to forums!

I think you should contact the tax assessor's office and ask them if the person has paid his taxes. You can also involve a title search company to do this for you.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.

did you have a title company prepare a title search? If the IRS recorded a lien they should have found it
