on 7/28/2010 i received paperwork to complete my loan modification, stating congradulations you passecd the trial period. the fedex envelope it came in had to be returned no later than 8/5/2010, which it was. i then received another envelope a few days later with the exact paperwork but this time with my ex-wife's name included, which she never signed anything on my refinance in 2008. i faxed in with my account number my quitclaim deed and it was added to my account information. i receive another envelope september 29, 2010. with the identical paperwork as the first, i sign it, find another notary, attach another check send it in. i just got a letter dated 10/11/2010, saying i was rejected from the loan modification program for not sending in the paperwork. the checks they cashed were attached to the documents that were sent to gmac. they got the checks ok, but now no one can find the paperwork and the person in the loss mitigation dept it was sent to, i can not be connected to her extention number, jaylin kneibel, because she does not have a phone. what i have to do now is re-file everything all over again according to the two supervisors i spoke to. heres an article from the president of gmac on how client relation are so important along with responsible servicing, http gmacsolutions com/article6.htm i was offered an appology from the supervisor, but my reply was if i dont pay my mortgage a sorry isnt sufficent for you to credit my account. any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
Hi jettec,
I can understand what you're going through. If you have a duplicate copy of the previous paperwork, then you can submit it to the lender and find out if he can help you in getting a modification. If not, then I'm afraid, you'll have to refile loan modification.
Thanks
