three yrs ago my credit was excellent and now it is poor. i am having to juggle bills to get them paid. i owe my family , have a debt consolidation and still struggle to pay the mortgage because i have an va loan. i just took a 30k pay cut and i can not get loss mitigation at citimirtgage to work with me. my husband is unemployed and i feel as if i have no options but to get a lawyer and one once again that is money.

In my opinion, you should write a hardship letter to your lender's loss mitigation department once again and apply for a loan modification in order to save the property. You should mention your financial hardship in details to the lender and see if he agrees to your request.
