Would it be a good idea to get some sort of mortage loan to pay off my bills even though I currently do not pay interest on my mortage loan?

pl clarify
many people do just that - consolidate with a mortgage loan. if you decide that this is proper for you, be sure that you'll avoid running up those balances once again; that is one of the prime ways in which people run into problems down the road.
