I was discharged 2010 from bankruptcy;I only asked to keep my (HOME & VEHICAL). I found out that in 2011 my home was not reaffirmed; and that's why my mortgage was & will never be (LOWERED). I called (pfg)office . the attorney came back with a (JUDGE-NO) because this is after the bankrupt;. (bottom line -I cannot pay (1700 mo.) because someone in the transaction did not do there job (PETER FRANCE GARACIE'S OFFICE - OR WITH NATIONAL CITY MORTAGE-BUT PNC BOUGHT INTO NATIONAL CITY.;WHAT CAN I DO TO KEEP MY HOME @ THIS TIME.
In such situation, best thing would be to take the assistance of a bankruptcy attorney.
In order to get a reaffirmation of your mortgage, you will have to re-open your bankruptcy filing. In order to re-open your bankruptcy, you will need court's approval. Unless you get the approval, you won't be able to reaffirm the loan.
