I am divorced
I live in my primary home which was quit claimed by the ex to me.
The loan is still under both of us name.
I would like to remodify and my ex said he will not sign the papers. I dont want to lose my house and want to keep it.
Do I need his signature for the remodification?

Hi Guest,
There are chances that the lender will require your ex's signatures when you apply for a mortgage. Nevertheless, you should contact your lender and explain your situation. The lender will let you know whether or not he would agree to your request for a loan modification.
Thanks
