Remove appliances from home

Posted on: 10th Dec, 2013 11:49 pm
Hi there... My house has not yet gone into foreclosure but the lender may file for it. Will I be able to remove my appliances live stove from the house?
If you have installed the appliances on your own, then you may be able to remove the appliances.

Anything that is affixed to the property, bolted, fastened or secured to the property become real property, not personal property. If the appliances were never installed then they are personal property. If they are attached in any manner to the home, it now is real property and should stay with the home. Some lenders have come after former home owners who have taken everything from the home.
