I had a rental home foreclosed on about a year and a half ago and have been receiving letters from Real Time Solutions of Dallas. The letters are getting threatening. What can they do... put a lien on my primary residence, sue me, or take me to court?
I take it as you had an investment property that went through the foreclosure sale process, I hope I interpreted your question correctly. If you have already been through the complete foreclosure process and you are now residing in your homestead property, you are fine, you have nothing to worry about except the annoyance of the collection attempts by the collections agency. You credit has already been hit hard which will affect your for years to come. You may try to stop them by sending them a cease and desist letter which you can pull up a generic template anywhere online, print it, fill it out and send it to the collection agency to try to get them to stop bothering you.
